KINDLE EDITION IS WEAK /
/ 2010-05-24
While this text is an excellent resource for the primary care physician, the kindle edition is terrible. There is no links or available table of contents, and extremely difficult to find a specific chapter as there is no guidence as to where it exists. I will change my review when a TOC is added (come on, this is a basic function of an e-book).
Good book /

I'm interested in primary care sports medicine and this book is a great resource for me. Great for examinations, differentials and treatments. The really good thing about it is the end of each section shows what exercises/PT should be done and the included DVD can print this out as a patient handout. The only weak point is that the anatomy is a little sketchy so you would need to read another text to get that down.
Not just for orthopods /

This is an amazing text. It breaks down many common injuries and explains how they are treated. It is incredible.
Very Informative /

I am a College student working with a Hand and Upper extremity microsurgeon for the summer and this book is fantastic. It has allowed me to brush-up on disorders of the hand/and wrist(it has a dedicated section) and be more aware of what is happening without direct explanation from the surgeon. 5 stars to a very informative and easy to use text.

This is a great, thorough, resource to have. It is an easy read and has pictures to demonstrate the activities.
